Breed Specific Legislation and Aggressive Dogs    

If your dog falls under Ontario’s Breed Specific (Pit Bull) Legislation, or has aggression issues, you must provide a proper muzzle for your dog. Your dog should have a basket style or leather muzzle. A proper muzzle allows your dog to open it’s mouth, pant, drink and even chew a treat, while protecting both your dog, and the people and pets your dog comes in contact with. A nylon/Velcro muzzle is not acceptable and your dog will NOT be walked! These muzzles are meant for short term restraint, and do not allow your dog to open it's mouth.
